I made the decision to launch Strategic Counsel Wealth Advisory so I could serve clients with a high level of autonomy, expertise, and also have the ability to use modern technology that an independent environment can offer. After more than 25 years in this profession, it became clear that the next chapter of my career required full ownership over how I run my practice — including the ability to hire, invest, and innovate in ways that directly strengthen the client experience.
Independence allows me to build the team I believe clients truly deserve. I now have the flexibility to hire and train support that can engage at a deeper strategic level, rather than relying on task-based roles I could not shape. This structure allows for more thoughtful planning, analysis, and proactive oversight.

These tools help me model more scenarios, evaluate portfolios more deeply, and make more efficient and tax-aware decisions — all of which meaningfully improve the client experience.
